Queensland School Sport would like to extend a huge thank
you and congratulations to all participating students and staff who recently attended
the Pacific School Games in Adelaide.
From the 21st to the 29th
of November, Queensland had over 550 athletes in 21 teams compete across nine different sports - swimming, basketball, baseball, softball, football, touch, diving, table
tennis and goalball.
Queensland was the second biggest delegation at the games, closely behind
NSW, which involved all Australian States and Territories as well
as international teams from Fiji, Macau, Pakistan, India, China, Cambodia and New Zealand.
Overall the games were a huge success, with the Queensland team performing very well and bringing home 5 team gold medals, 5 silver and 2 bronze, as well as 169 gold, 136 silver and 139 bronze medals in the individual events. Please see all Queensland results in the table below.
