Cross Country 10-19 years

The representative program for Cross Country offers opportunity for 10 - 19 years boys and girls to compete at State and National championship levels.

Cross Country is managed by a committee of dedicated teachers. They are guided by a suite of policies namely, Management, Competition and Financial Operating Procedures, for the management and operation of State championships and other associated events.

The State Championships of Cross Country was first contested in 1991 and was initially administered by the State Athletics Committee. In 1996 Cross Country developed their own management committees and have since continued to develop and promote Cross Country throughout the State.

The current 10-12 years Cross Country Management Committee also recognises our Life Members - Lloyd Wills, Leigh Francis, Megan Burns, Cathy Grattan and Anthony Doherty - for their contribution to the development of this sport.

13-19 year olds: it is optional for 13-19 year old athletes to wear spikes.
