Track and Field 10-12 years

The representative program for Track and Field offers opportunity for 10 to 12 years old boys and girls to compete at state and national championship levels.

Track and Field is managed by a committee of dedicated teachers. They are guided by a suite of policies namely, Management, Competition and Financial Operating Procedures, for the management and operation of State championships and other associated events.

Track and Field 10- 12 years Shot Put coach
Teachers with suitable qualifications are invited to apply for the above position.
The Shot Put coach will be required to
·      Be one of eleven team officials supervising, coaching and managing the Queensland team competing at the School Sport Australia national championships.  
·      Coach the students selected to complete in Shot Put.
·      Coach the students in combined event, multi class and relays.
·      Obtain school principal approval to be absent from regular school duties.
Shot Put coach qualifications
        Team Coach should possess at least a current level one coaching accreditation or equivalent.
        Coached regional teams and attended previous State Championships.
·    Coached at a District level prior to applying for a Queensland position.
•    Team officials must all possess a current first aid/sports medicine
      qualification prior to departure to their event.
